Plantbar Jacqueline

We went in for one coffee and stayed the whole afternoon. Plantbar Jacqueline is a plant-filled, fully plant-based café in Borgerhout. It’s run by three sisters, named for their grandmother Jacqueline who still grows her own vegetables, with cake worth ordering and plants you can take home. Then we noticed most people stop at the coffee. Walk through to the back and it keeps going: @borgerhub, a concept store of 40 local makers, all inside a former courthouse. We came for a café and left having found a whole little corner of Antwerp. Save it for a slow afternoon, for coffee and a plant, or just here for the cake?
