Some restaurants feed you. Paroles Paroles rather sweeps you off your feet. It is a sharing-plates restaurant in Ostend, tucked into the Sky District a minute from the station, all deep reds and chandeliers and booths that feel like little rooms of your own. There is no fixed order here, you just keep sending plates to the middle of the table, octopus carpaccio, a dry-aged rib eye, truffle fries you will fight over, a pornstar martini to start. Gault&Millau named it their HiP place of the year, and one night in, we understood exactly why. Ask for the table with the cockatoo. Trust us on that one.
